cashews, raw and unsalted
raw onion, or 2 teaspoons onion powder (10 mL)
garlic cloves, or 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 mL)
- Add all ingredients to a blender and process until smooth.
- Pour mixture into sauce pan and cook over medium-low heat for 15 - 20 minutes, or until desired thickness. Stir often to eliminate lumps. Serve warm.
- If desired, stir in diced tomatoes, cilantro, pico de gallo or jalapeños.
