From Frank K., third generation Saladmaster owner

When I was a little kid growing up, my grandmother had Saladmaster cookware. What I still remember is when she was cooking we would hear the clicking of the valve and, just like Pavlov's dogs, we knew it was time to eat. It is just one of those memories that has stayed with me from the time I was a child.

That cookware was passed down to my mother and then down to me. And what I can say is that it works just like it did 60 years ago. It just doesn't break and I can use it without worrying - I guess what I'm saying is it's the quality that is so incredible. You just can't buy anything now that lasts like Saladmaster does.

One of my favorite things to cook is my fried chicken, but I wasn't doing it without oil. Since I learned about the oldest cookware contest, through the local Saladmaster representative, I'm now in the process of learning how to cook in a different way. Now I'm learning how to 'fry' without oil and it is amazing - that chicken tasted just like Kentucky Fried Chicken.

I was shocked at what this cookware can do, like I didn't know you can cook cornbread in the pan on top of the stove.

I never knew how to use my Saladmaster in the correct way until the current Dealer came to my house to show me. You just have to be exposed to it and be open to learning how to cook in a little different way, it's easy. So now I'm cooking a little different and everything still tastes good.
