Directions: 
  1. Combine all ingredients in sauce pan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cover, reduce heat to low and cook 25 minutes.
  2. Let stand for 5 minutes covered and transfer to a serving bowl.
  3. Fluff with a fork and remove bay leaf before serving.
Tips: 
  • For additional flavor substitute water with vegetable stock
